The corn stayed nice and hot and the candied sweet potatoes stayed hot, only problem was because of the heat build up the nice thick sauce did thin out a bit.Only problem I discovered was if you do not fill the bowl at least half full, the food does not stay warm, I used one again to try and keep mashed potatoes warm while prepared additional food and because it was such a small amount of food in the container they didn't stay warm. Not the fault of the container. The locking lid is a must according to the gift recipient. Although it has not been tested for the six hours as advertised, it has held the temperatures, both cold and hot, for 3 hours, that I know for sure. The container is very lightweight and does not seem like much for the price, but as long as it works, that's a good thing. |
