It is relatively non-stick if you keep it hot and oiled. Temperature across the griddle surface is pretty consistent. Good quality heavy cast material. I like it a lot.You might want to pay attention to how level your Q320 unit is, so that the grease drain hole is lower than the rest of the griddle surface. Otherwise grease will pool up like a frying pan. Again not a problem for me, just something to consider. You can only use this on the left side of the Q320 unit, I had not seen that written anywhere before I bought it. Not a problem for me, but I felt you should know before you buy. If you try buying two to have the entire grill as a griddle surface, it will not work as there are little tabs cast in to prevent the right side one from being installed. 11 of 11 people found the following review helpful By Dr Norm (Donna, Tx) - See all my reviews This review is from: Weber Q 6506 Griddle (Lawn & Patio) This griddle fits the Weber Q 300. You simply lift out one of the two grates and replace it with this griddle. It's great for grilling vegetables, with lots of room left on the grate side for doing your meat, chicken, shrimp or whatever. I've owned it for about a year and have had no problems with it. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful By Crocodile JD "Returnee from Van Diemen's Land" (Silver Spring, MD USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Weber Q 6506 Griddle (Lawn & Patio) We just returned from Australia where we spent over 2 years. The "barbi" is an Australian institution and we got hooked. But an Aussie barbecue is not like a US one. No charcoal any more, usually propane gas, and either one big griddle or a griddle and a grill (half and half). I was initially frustrated until I was able to confirm the existence of a "half" griddle to go on our new Weber grill. Now we have a "barbi" in our own backyard. And it works great for sauteeing vegetables or even frying salami and eggs. Good on ya' mates! |
