We have pots with metal and composite handles, used over propane stove. Usually become very hot and unusable. These have been a handsaver . Very sturdy, cool, and a good grip. Great find. Great gift for friends!

Ordered these hoping they would work for my DeBuyer Mineral B pans, but they are very loose. I suppose we will try to use them, since we haven't found a suitable replacement. They slip on and off very easily.

These are too thin to provide adequate heat protection from your hands. The waffling is a design failure because the raised square grid pattern is so thin that it just folds over and your skin is left in contact with the too-thin layer of silicone underneath.

More importantly, the sleeve melted the first time I used it. All silicone sleeves will eventually dry out and crack, but I got about a year out of the Le Creuset ones. You get what you pay for.
