This bowl was smaller than what I expected, but it was a medium size bowl that I could still use. Will order the bigger size next time! The lid is a plus - good for storing food in the fridge.

I've had no problems using the bowl in the microwave (so far) except that it is hard to handle. Sides are straight up so it's hard to get a grasp on it. I have to use "super-grippy" potholders to pick this up. Looking through the reviews here, apparently I'm the only one who's had this concern - weirdly. Previously I'd remarked that vent tab doesn't stand away from the hole, but it does; you can even rotate it away.

I have several of the Pyrex Storage containers and I think they're great for storage and reheating. I am trying to move away from plastic containers (especially cheap ones) and this is a perfect alternative. Also, they are made in the USA, which to me is very important for several reasons.
