Yes they are small and so perfectly suited to certain uses. I can't believe somebody rated them one star because they are small. I mean, the measurements are stated right in the description. You can hardly blame the product for not being what you hoped it might be when it was clearly described. And is also the right size for 2 entree servings of stuffed pastas with a generous amount of filling and sauce, or 4 dessert portions of cobblers. The bonus baker is the perfect size for 1 large entree or 2 servings of baked dessert. The pottery heats evenly and is attractive enough to be brought directly to the table. It is available in all the Le Creuset colors plus white and black to coordinate with your current set of dishes. They are also easy to wash and anything stuck on comes off easily with a short soaking. Highly reccomended. Kolenko "Buffalo Gal" (Woodridge, Il USA) - See all my reviews    I wonder has anyone else had this problem. I purchased about a year ago & was excited that this could be used in a hotter oven. I was using the other day in a 425 degree oven when I heard a noise & was shocked to see that it has split about halfway & all the way through. I now had two approximately equal pieces.
