I was so sick of wanting a new tea kettle and going to any store and not finding one for less than $20-$30. Then it would be so cheap that it doesn't even have a proper push button or trigger to open the spout. If you want to get a semi decent kettle, you're looking at $40 or more, I mean, I just want to sometimes boil water!
This is just like the kettles that were prevalent before everybody had to have designer colors and fancy shapes, it's probably a little lower gauge than what I remember, but the whistle works (loudly) and it is cheap!
Pros: $9.88! Push button works great. Whistle works great. Fill through the nozzle, pour through the nozzle, no silly "filling" cap like on most other kettles.
Cons: Metal is a little thin.

After using the kettles with removable lids, I wanted a one piece tea kettle. This one is perfect for me. The whistle is easy to hear, it is light weight and and exactly what I wanted. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This was the cheapest tea kettle in terms of price on Amazon that looks decent. It does its job well. Water heats up quickly. Only con is that the handle gets really hot if you fill it full with water. I usually do 2 cups of water so it's not as bad. A tea kettle is a tea kettle so I am glad I didn't pay $40+ for the more expensive ones.
