We use it to make hot chocolate (perfect size for two mugs and creates a froth on top), heat up water, melt butter, make coffee and create sauces. Wish I had bought it years ago. Definitely get it as it hardly takes up much room in your cupboard and the handle never gets hot. Being made of stainless steel also means that there's no issues with plastics getting hot and releasing carcinogens into your food. We started making coffee in it by putting grounds in with water and then using a cup sized stainless steel strainer to catch the grounds.
