You don't know how many people have asked me how to make these muffin tops! The pans are wonderful, I spray them with a cooking spray, use a boxed muffin mix, reduce the temperature 75 degrees from what the box says to use for muffins, cook for about 12 minutes, and they are perfect! I use a silicone spatula to remove them from the pan, I don't want to ruin these precious things.

My friends have ordered them too, they also think they are a great buy. One of my friends even says she puts hers in the dishwasher although I haven't tried that yet.

I LOVE THEM! I think a couple of these and a couple of mixes would be a great gift idea also!

A new trend in my kitchen begins. Used these for the first time without greasing them. Nothing stuck to the pan. The regular size muffin recipe that I followed called for the muffins to be baked in a 400 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes. When I used my new muffin pans, I set the oven temperature to 325 degrees and baked for 15 minutes. They came out perfectly with the recipe that I used. Now, I'll try many more recipes with these pans.

I purchased two of these as I make my own bread products for my particular diet,
I wanted something shallow so I wouldn't have to slice something out of a deeper
pan...THIS filled the bill. I still sprayed this (with the flour/oil spray for
baking) as I have heard these pans do better with a little help from a spray oil
of some kind. I was very pleased for the use I needed them for...as far as using
them for muffin top baking I would think they would work great as they ARE shallow
and you would have more 'crusty' areas...but I doubt that I will ever actually use
them for muffin making. I think you could make all kinds of cool things out of
this pan...maybe even your own hamburger buns? Use your oven the efficient way
and get TWO of these pans and place them side by side on your rack, get more bang
for your "power bill buck" that way.
