Norpro 507 Hamburger Pressbest

I was afraid because the item was so cheap that I wouldn't like it but it's exactly what I wanted. It's easy to use, the burgers don't stick, and the hamburgers come out perfectly. The only reason it gets a 4 is because it makes a scraping sound when you pull the plunger up (plastic scraping against plastic) that's a little annoying but definitely tolerable.

Works great. I cut some wax paper squares. Put one down. Lay a ball of ground meat on it cover with another square of waxed paper or plastic wrap. Cover with the Press and press down. Perfect formed burger ready to refrigerate or freeze until it is time to cook them. There is an undocumented feature. It will snap apart for easy cleaning. Grab the plunger with tips of your fingers with one hand and the whole bell case with the other hand and pull apart maybe with a slight twist and you have 3 pieces, the plunger, the bell case and the little cap. Now it easy to clean out any grease or blood. And it just all snaps back together. For what it does it is perfect. Easy to use and clean.

I admire simple tools that do their jobs well, and this press does its job well. I would have given it 5 Stars if it came with a bottom piece.
