I had this tortilla warmer sent out to my daughter-in-law, and when we went to visit I was surprised to find that it was plastic! Now maybe microwaving tortillas will be fine with her (she has not had a chance to use it yet), but I confess that I was thinking it was made of ceramic. The jury is out... Nordic Ware is usually a good product.
